Call to Worship

Early in the morning, while it was still dark — hope was born.
Even when the world seemed stuck in grief and fear,
God was already doing a new thing.

We come, still shaken by the world’s sorrows,
but daring to believe that Love has risen.

The stone was rolled away,
not by power or violence, but by the breath of God’s own Spirit.
Death does not get the last word.

The powers of fear, greed, and cruelty do not win.
Christ is risen! Love is alive!

This is the day the Resistor has become the Redeemer.

Christ’s love refuses to stay buried.
Alleluia! Love lives, hope rises, and we will rise with it!
