What Can You Expect?
At Mars Hill United Methodist Church, you’re likely to find our Sunday worship is both contemporary and traditional, contemplative and participative. Our services are enhanced by many of our region’s best performers, singers, ensembles, and instrumentalist, including members of the Mars Hill University Department of Music, the Southern Appalachian Chamber Singers and the Mars Hill UMC choir and handbell choir.
Here, every Sunday provides a unique worship experience, one fully enriched by your presence and enrichment of our collective worship. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month as well as on special days of the year.

Service Times
Each Sunday, there are at least two opportunities to join us for church in Mars Hill or online. These include our Sunday School at 11 am and our Sunday worship at 9:45 AM.

Join us for Sunday School In-Person or Online at 11 AM! If you’d like to join us In Person, we meet in the Fellowship Hall. For Virtual Sunday School, you can use your computer, tablet, or phone to participate.
