After four decades of ministry and witness in church handbell choirs, including founding and leading the handbell choir at Mars Hill United Methodist Church, Lucy Butterworth retried after leading the All Saints Sunday performance on November 6.
Our congregation honored "Saint Lucy" during and after the November 6 All Saints Sunday worship, which featured a reception following the service.
The church’s handbell collection was dedicated and renamed in her honor.
