Mars Hill’s United Methodist Women (UMW) - also know nationally as Women United in Faith meet on Tuesday, August 9 at at Meadowsweet Creamery in the Mars Landing Galleries at 37 Library Street in Mars Hill.

Michael and Andrea Clem, owners of the Meadowsweet Creamery ice cream shop in Mars Hill, were the August meeting’s featured speakers.

Located inside Mars Landing Galleries at 37 Library Street in Mars Hill, Meadowsweet Creamery is a small, locally owned ice cream shop run by husband and wife team Michael and Andrea Clem. They use local and seasonal ingredients to create unique and wild ice cream flavors. Specializing in ice cream sandwiches with homemade shortbread and French macarons. They also serve up their scoops in cups, cones, and other tasty treats like root beer floats.
