About Guest Preacher

Rev. Kelly Dotson

Please join us in welcoming our guest preacher for our Pride Worship & Eucharist — Rev. Kelly Dotson, Kelly is serving an appointment at Wellspring Congregation in Asheville, an affirming, accepting and Reconciling church. She has served that team since July 2022 after being ordained an elder in full connection in the Western North Carolina Conference. Kelly has been pastoring churches in WNC since 2014, serving churches in Canton, Otto, Franklin, Morganton and Nebo. The longing of Kelly's heart is to share the good news of God's love with those who have been exiled from the church and to work towards bringing God's Kingdom to "earth as it is in heaven." It is a dream come true for her to join the staff of Wellspring Congregation. Kelly is affectionately known as preacher woman, Pastor Kelly and PK. Kelly resides in Franklin with her partner, Shannon, and they share four adult children between them as well as four cats.
