I am deeply thankful to all the members and friends of Mars Hill UMC for the love and support you have extended to me.
Your acceptance of my leadership has been a source of great encouragement. I am not without faults, and I ask for your forgiveness for any mistakes I may have made. As I bid farewell, I want you to know that I am leaving with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, al of which I have gained from my time here.
We receive your thankfulness, offer forgiveness, and accept that you are leaving to minister elsewhere. We express our gratitude for your time among us and ask for your forgiveness for our mistakes. Your influence on our faith and faithfulness will not leave us with your departure.
As I accept your gratitude and forgiveness, I also extend my own forgiveness to you. I trust that our time together and parting folow God's wil. Iencourage you ot continue your ministry here, supporting and praying for our new pastor, Rev. Kelly Dotson, as I will be doing.
