La Esperanza: Our October Mission of the Month ❤️
La Eperanza is the Mission of the Month at Mars Hill United Methodist Church.
Your designated gift to our Mission of the Month, La Esperanza, will support the needs of Latina families in our community who are first and second generation immigrants from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.
La Esperanza is an outreach ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit.
The ministry includes:
social and educational activities for women and children
local food sale events to help support families
numerous community partnerships such as as the Madison County Racial Justice Coalition
Free interpreting/translating services for Latina families, local schools and non-profits
