Holy Week + Easter Schedule Announced, Will Feature Observances Across Mars Hill, Madison County, N.C.

Holy Week and Easter Sunday services will include Pam Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday observances at Mars Hill United Methodist Church and across the Madison County community.

Holy Week observances beginning on April 2 and culminating on Easter Sunday on April 11 in Mars Hill and across Madison County, North Carolina will include:

  • Palm Sunday Worship & Holy Communion on April 2, both in-person and online at 11:15 am

  • Holy Thursday services at 7 pm on April 5 both in-person and online at 7 pm

  • Good Friday featuring an open sanctuary on April 7 from noon until 2 pm at Bright Hope Laurel United Methodist Church

  • Stations of the Cross on Good Friday along the Dr. W. Otis Duck Greenway on April 7 at 4 pm

  • Easter Sunrise Service at the Wolf Laurel Country Club on April 9 at 7 am (Breakfast will follow at Bright Hope Laurel UMC in the Fellowship Hall)

  • Easter Sunday on April 9 at 11:15 am, both in-person and online at 11:15 am
